| April 7 | Arrived Vienna. Soon thereafter he was invited to play for Mozart, performing among other works, his piano sonata - op2#3. Mozart also provided a theme that contained a "trick" secondary theme which Beethoven immediately noticed & "pounced" upon in brilliant improvization. The 30 yo Mozart quietly moved to another room there telling friends something like: "Keep your eyes on that fellow; one day he'll give the world something to talk about" | |
