Who's Who at Pacifica these days?

Pacifica Executive Director, Bessie Wash, has a new "public relations consultant" named Phyllis Shearer Jones, President/CEO of Elan International, LLC, in Wheaton, MD. Her business card says she does "Business Development, International Trade Promotion, Public/Government Relations, and Event Management."

Phyllis was at the board meeting in D.C. this weekend (very tall, thin black woman wearing a red suit on Saturday). I just got back and did a web search for her company but didn't find anything -- but I did find her name on a list from 1996-97 of US government foreign trade contacts
