This page was created in response to the outlaw nature of the current
Pacifica National Board, and in response to their habitual withholding of
public records. Transcripts of the February 2000 meeting were just made available
in July, five months after the fact and the October 1999 transcripts were released in May,
seven months after that meeting. They were initially said to be "lost," but were later
"found," shortly after an Alameda County Superior Court judge ruled that the LAB
Lawsuit is valid and will proceed. The discovery process will soon begin.
Irresponsible, and extralegal activities have gone unchecked for too long.
The voice of the people will not be silenced.

IMPROPER/ILLEGAL ACTIONS 2/2000:

1. 9/97 Bylaws change remained in force (LAB
to nominate, no longer elect PNB directors).
2. 2/99 Bylaws change remained in force (LAB
removed from exclusive nomination of PNB
Directors; this layered upon illegal action [#1]
above ).
3. Members of the PNB served on the
executive committee after terms of office
had expired.
4. MFB appointed people to the executive
committee without the authority to do so.
5. Gross abuse of authority (Cal.Corp. Code
§5223)
6. Secret phone meeting of Governance
Committee prior to the PNB February
2000 meeting when new PNB director
nominees discussed -- without the
knowledge of Tomas Moran, a member
of that committee.
7. Denial by MFB that Tomas Moran is a
member of the Governance Committee,
although he was earlier appointed to that
committee and agreed to serve.
8. The formal nomination of new PNB
Directors took place in closed (secret
session).
9. Legal Stenographer was told to not
record the Goverance Committee meeting
at the PNB meeting in Washington DC
February 2000.
10.Five new at-large Directors elected to the
Board raising at-large members to nine - in
violation of the Bylaws (stating a maximum
of five).
