A Very Dangerous Liason
Here’s my contribution toward the 2001 Folio. Please apply the surplus toward someone who can’t afford to donate. I do hope you’ll be able to keep up the good work!
I’d like to suggest that you ask Professor Edward Herman to write an article for the Folio. His essays have been so useful. There would be no one better able to provide an analysis that might help us understand what appears to be the link between: (1) The puzzling and treacherous behavior of the NATION magazine in the struggle against the Pacifica Board; (2) The attempt just before the election by Pacifica management to stifle Amy Goodman; (3) the President’s unseemly (and perhaps planned) publivc scolding of Amy Goodman. There would appear to have grown up an understanding among opinion-maker managers that there should be no enemies to the left of the Democratic Leadership Council. A very dangerous liason indeed!
With best regards,
Murray Tobak

Dear Folio Team
Thank you very much for another outstanding Folio.
This November issue was, for me, the best of all the very fine issues which you have published, (including the Team photo)!
My apologies for my small donation. If I can send more at a later time, I will.
Very best wishes,
Charles Natwick
