On May 28, North Bay for KPFA sponsored the broadcast of Larry Bensky and Robbie Osman’s programs from the Powerhouse Brewing Company in Sebastopol. On Sunday Salon, Larry fired up the crowd with a panel of local activists discussing the problems caused by growth, redevelopment and conversion of agricultural land in an area devoid of the political leadership needed to protect the quality of life long taken for granted by most Sonoma County residents. Robbie’s entertaining eclectic mix of music and conversation on Across the Great Divide topped off the afternoon.
