My dear Z[meskall],

       The Jahn brothers have just as little attraction for me as they have for you. But they have pestered me most dreadfully and have finally referred me to you, stating that you were going there; so I have accepted - Now do come, for Heaven's sake. Perhaps I shall go and fetch you at Zizius's; and that reminds me, do come straight to his place so that I may not be there without some fellow creatures - Well, we shall leave our commissions in abeyance until you can deal with them more easily - unless you can come today to the Schwan where I am quite certainly going.
