Sometime
ago I had the pleasure of quoting to you the lowest prices for
those works of mine which you desired to be the sole owner; and
now I take the liberty of informing you of another plan, that
is to say, providing that my works can appear simultaneously in
Paris, London, Vienna or in some other towns in Germany, I can
then quote more moderate prices, such as you will see from the
attached note; and I promise to send you everything I create unless
it is something or other which you cannot make use of; and of
that you must inform me. If, therefore, this arrangement suits
you, you may instruct Messrs. Fries & Co. here to disperse
to me the amount of according to the price fixed for each work
of mine which will be delivered to them. Awaiting your welcome
replies I send you my respectful greetings, and with my best regards
