Anderson v1 pg111 - letter #92

If you, dear Reese, know where to find better rooms, hi Shelby very glad indeed. So you must tell my brothers that you are not renting theses rooms immediately -- I should very much like to have rooms in a large quiet square or on the bastie -- I find it hard to forgive my worthy brother for not ordering the wine sooner, since it is so necessary and beneficial to my health. I shall make a point of being at the rehearsal on Wednesday. I am not at all in favor of its taking place at Schuppanzigh's -- He might be grateful to me if my insults were to make him slimmer -- All good wishes, dear Riess. We are having bad weather here, and at Baden I cannot protect myself against people. I must run away if I want to be alone.

                                                               Your true friend
