To Baron Ignaz von Gleichenstein
Vienna, c. November 1, 1808

Anderson v1 pg200 - letter #179

I waited for you yesterday, but in vain - Do arrange to let me know whether I am to receive wood through His Impudence or not - I have received the offer of a fine appointment as Kapellmeister to the King of Westphalia. I am to be paid handsomely - I have been asked to state how many ducats I should like to have - and so forth - I would like to discuss this offer with you - So, if you can, come to me this afternoon at about hilf past three - I have to go out this morning -
